This site presents a virtual version of a real home exhibition which took place in Rehovot, Israel, in February, 2002. The exhibition was created by Marina Alperovich and Daniel Zilbersheid. The photographs exhibited here were originally meant to be shown to a narrow circle of Vladimir's friends and relatives. However, when it became evident that Vladimir's works may be of interest to others on their own merit, we decided to move the photographs to the Internet, enabling wider access.

The credit for the creation of this exhibition, both in its real and virtual forms, belongs primarily to my mother Marina, who needed all her love and courage to be able to start collecting the photographs and organizing things after Vladimir's death, as well as to our friend Daniel Zilbersheid, himself a photographer, who invested a great deal of time and effort in selecting and processing the photographs and in providing general help and encouragement along the way. This site was created by Michael Livshin and myself.

I am profoundly grateful to all the wonderful people who helped us in some way or another. I thank, on behalf of my mother and me, Daniel, Michael, Zinovii Bezymensky, Vicky, Anatoly and all the others who were with us and helped us.

Dina Alperovich.
